Rev. Trey Dille is Associate Pastor at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Effingham, Illinois. Before arriving in Effingham in June of 2024, he attended Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri. During his time at the seminary, Trey served as a vicar (intern) at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Lake Ozark, Missouri. He received His M.Div (2024) from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis. He graduated from Concordia Chicago in 2020. Pastor Dille is married to his wife Katie and they have a golden retriever named Scarlet.
At St. John’s, Pastor Dille works with the Social Board, Education Board, and Youth Board. Pastor Dille has a passion for serving the community. He loves to do as he helps support St. John’s Food Pantry and the Golden Eagles program. He and Katie also have a passion for spending time in God’s Word and teaching Bible Studies and Sunday School. Additionally, they have a passion for helping youth grow in faith and love. They lead youth fellowship weekly and are passionate about providing a safe space for St. John’s youth to gather around God’s Word.
Pastor Dille and Katie love the community St. John’s offers and the surrounding community of Effingham. He prays that God will continue to use St. John’s to ‘proclaim the Christ, grow the family, and love the neighbor.’
